What is GhostDigest?

Welcome to "GhostDigest", a website aimed at helping the conveyancing profession practise more profitably.

Conveyancing is a dynamic area of the law and as technology develops so will the opportunities to increase profits and cut expenses. We at Korbitec Solutions hope that GhostDigest will deliver new and inspiring information to conveyancers, and promote the interests of conveyancers and the conveyancing industry.

GhostDigest is essentially a "bird's-eye-view" of what's happening in the conveyancing profession. As such it gives practitioners the bigger picture as to what other firms are doing. We'll be publishing articles on how conveyancing practices can increase fees and reduce costs. We'll be looking at technology and how it can benefit conveyancers. We'll highlight successful conveyancing practices elsewhere in the world and follow the progress of electronic deeds registration in South Africa and in other countries. We'll also monitor trends in the industry, such as firms acquiring estate agencies and the role of mortgage originators.

We will also publish any appropriate articles and comments submitted by you, the conveyancer. To help all conveyancers stay in touch, we'll publish a weekly bulletin and the headlines will be sent to you via e-mail. If you see a headline that interests you, click on the link in the e-mail, then read the full article in GhostDigest.

We'd be grateful if you'd let us have your feedback on GhostDigest - good or bad. This will help us to improve the site and, of course, our service to the conveyancing fraternity.
