The Tables of Costs - ready reckoner reflecting the Deeds Office changes to Schedule of Fees of Office which came into effect on 27 October 2008.




The Tables of Costs - ready reckoner booklet includes:
  • Summary of Bond Repayment Interest Rates/Costs.
  • Summary of Bond and Transfer Costs.
  • Tables of Transfer costs, and
  • Tables of Bond costs, which reflect the abolition of Stamp Duty on mortgage bonds. We have left the Stamp Duty column in these tables and have repeated the 0.00 throughout as a reminder to users of the change.

Notes
The tables do not include applicable legislation since this is the same as that which appears in the Tables of Costs - with legislation booklet of 2003 to be read with the Recommended Guidelines of Fees, which the Law Society of South Africa issued in July 2006.
