ARTL Update
30 April 2009

ARTL is an alternative to the current paper based system of Land Registration for Dealings with Whole (an application for properties already registered in the Land Register - an estimated 80% of the number of all dealings submitted annually), where the registration is completed electronically via a secure internet connection. Currently 15,967 applications have been submitted to the Keeper using ARTL, while some 183 solicitors firms, 15 lenders and 10 local authorities are using the system.
