ARTL cometh

Automated Registration of Title to Land (ARTL) has processed over 1,000 applications since late last year. Once the final testing and acceptance stage of this functionality has been completed, ARTL will be able to fully support sale and purchase transactions, including the processing of stamp duty land tax (SDLT). At last year's joint Registers of Scotland/Law Society of Scotland conveyancing conferences users of ARTL were very positive.
