Attorneys must rewrite

Although the LSSA councillors have shown "a great deal of sympathy for the candidates", Judge Ferdi Peller found that, "The damage to the public interest is much bigger than the inconvenience of rewriting the examinations. The inconvenience for the 500 that have to rewrite does not match the potential damage and threat to the integrity and image of the profession."

The new exam is to be rewritten on 28 July.
