Most claims against attorneys arise from litigation and the prescription of MVA matters. According to the May Risk Alert Bulletin, issued by the Attorneys Fidelity Fund, these are areas in which attorneys need to take special care.
Claims for conveyancing represent 13 percent of all claims instituted over the period 1 July 1993 to 30 June 2004.
