Guidance sought

CAUSA FOR TAX WINDOW TRANSFERS AND REQUIREMENTS BY SARS

We refer to the article by Allan West dated 15 February - Causa for CC, the article by Bobby Bertrand dated 19 February - Tax window transfers, and the article by Anville van Wyk - More s9(20) thoughts.

We have been in contact with various conveyancers in Cape Town and Pretoria, without any success.

Can somebody please take responsibility in clarifying the situation and giving us clear guidance as to what is needed and how the causa should read. The Conveyancing Committee of the Law Society surely must be able to make a ruling by now and prescribe the correct procedure for us to follow.

We have clients who are becoming anxious for these transfers to be done and are receiving enquiries from estate agents, but the causa and requirements for SARS are still unclear to us.
