In terms of the provisions of section 75A(1) of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act 32 of 2000, as amended, read with Tariff Policy of the Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality, a resolution was passed by Council on 09 June 2016 that the fees payable to the Municipality for Rates Clearance Applications for the 1 July 2016 to 30 June 2017 financial year are as follows:
