Do you perhaps know anything about "Non Resident" endorsements having to be stamped onto the Title Deeds of properties owned by non residents? I'm struggling to get to the bottom of this.
According to the Deeds office only they may endorse Title Deeds, any stamp placed on it by someone else would be cause for them to request a new Deed when presented to them on transfer.
So who makes these endorsements? The bank? SARS?
No one seems to have a clear answer...
