Proposed Sectional Titles Amendment Bill

The bill proposes amendments to the Sectional Titles Act 95 of 1986 (the Act) which aim to amend certain provisions and repeal others which have become redundant. It will also provide for the substitution of certain headings, and provide for acts of registration.

Most of the proposed amendments are aimed at streamlining the application of the Act, speeding up the process of developing sectional title schemes, and at making the process more cost effective for the public.
