Section 118 Application

The Kwazulu-Natal Law Society, and especially its Property Law Committee, regards the issue of s118 for attorneys and conveyancers, who deal with its consequences on a daily basis as one of the highest priority.

The submissions will therefore concern:
1.1 The constitutionality of s118.
1.2 The impact of s118 on the conveyancing process.
1.3 The consequences of s118 to the owners of the land who wish to sell and convey the property to the purchaser through the Deeds Registry.

The Society believes that its submissions will be useful in this matter.
