View, what view?

The owners of Beachcomber Bay lodge are using the same lawyers as used by Paolo in Gregory J Paola v Jaivadan Jeeva NO & Others . The couple say that a six-storey block of flats being built will diminish the value of their property by blocking their 'uninterrupted sea views'. They claim that the builder is not in possession of building plans approved by a building officer as required in terms of the National Buildings Standards Act number 103 of 1979. The developer's attorneys agree and have re-submitted them for approval. Meanwhile the building continues.
