C-NLIS

The Council for the National Land Information Service (C-NLIS) was officially launched in London last week. It intends being at the forefront of e-conveyancing and will manage the National Land Information Service (NLIS) and provide electronic access to all the official sources of land and property information, across the whole of England and Wales, via a number of competing channels. It will be joining other online conveyancing search providers TM Property, Transaction Online and Searchflow, which should improve the homebuying process and deliver enhanced community related services.
