Categories again?

According to a report It's back to race on News24 the Director General of Land Affairs, Doctor Gilengwe Mayende told Parliament's Land Affairs Committee that the department could not answer questions on land distribution because the race of the landowners did not appear on the title deeds.

The plans to re-introduce a section on race and nationality to its forms was not so much a classification as a means to "categorising" information so as to assist land reform. Information about nationality would indicate how many foreigners own land in the country.
