Chief Registrar's Circular No. 1 of 2011
All the assets and liabilities of Meeg Bank Limited (registration number 1976/060115/06) have been transferred to Absa Bank Limited (registration number 1986/004794/06) in terms of section 54 of the Banks Act, with effect from 1 August 2009. Due to the number of deeds/bonds that have to be endorsed regarding the transfer, permission is granted to endorse them as and when they are lodged for an act of registration. Other matters are also dealt with.
