The National Association of Managing Agents (NAMA) has quantified the impact of Conference Resolutions 46, 47 and 62 of 2010 at R80 000 000. Since they have relied on the conditions registered against title deeds to ensure the collection of monies owed to them, the passing of these resolutions has effectively pulled the carpet from under their feet.

Due to these unintended and unforeseen consequences and the need to protect the Branch Deeds Registration from possible litigation, the implementation of these conference resolutions has been suspended immediately.
