Digital deeds submission

The Dutch Cadastre, Land Registry & Mapping Agency www.kadaster.nl allows these documents to be submitted digitally through the electronic conveyancing portal ELAN obviating the need for the manual copying of data into the registration thereby reducing errors. The process is very easy to use, transparent and secure as it is based on automatically generated digital signatures while each deed is given a unique identification code.

Other advantages apart from time saving include greater certainty of deeds and of course greatly reduced costs. One million deeds equates to over 90% of deeds now being received digitally.
