The company's name will be BondExcel (Pty) Ltd., or HfS. Using PA Better Bond channels, it will open for business with its own processing facility in Johannesburg on November 1, and expand throughout South Africa with Cape Town being the second stop after Gauteng. Trevena might also become directly involved in the estate agency business, "probably through an existing franchise group, or even a national brand".

He is enthusiastic about attracting skilled staff from the banks and possibly from the real estate market to ensure the growth of the company, and to maintain superior quality. Under Trevena for the last two years, Nedbank homeloans division has sponsored and greatly encouraged the real estate industry, for example the Property Professional Awards.

Trevena wants a more direct involvement in the real estate and services industry, and its future. He also believes that both industry and country are dependent on greater black involvement and empowerment and this view will help to define his business plans.
