Welcome once again to the Johannesburg GhostConvey Club! Our aim is to provide you with useful GhostConvey related information on a monthly basis, in addition to some more light-hearted hints, recipes, jokes etc, and not forgetting our regular competitions with some fantastic prizes up for grabs.

InsureCentral
What is InsureCentral?
Most financial institutions prefer that their mortgage bonds are protected by life insurance. InsureCentral allows attorneys to send life insurance leads to an insurance company on behalf of their clients.
What can it do for me?
Offer additional service to clients
You can offer your clients access to life cover for their bond, eliminating one of the many worries while purchasing a house, with very little effort on your part.
Integrated with GhostConvey
InsureCentral referral requests are sent directly from GhostConvey. There is no need to install and learn any new software.
Simple, fast
Sending a referral message to the insurance company is as simple as ticking a box in your GhostConvey file. A message containing the contact information is sent to the insurance company's data centre, they will take care of the rest.
No follow up required
Once the insurance company receives the referral message, their call centre contacts the client to discuss the details and terms of the policy. There is no further involvement needed on your behalf.
Referral fee*
In the referral does result in a successfully concluded policy; and the bond is registered and timely payment has been made on the first three installments; then you will receive a referral fee. This fee can be credited to your Korbitec account.
What insurance products are offered?
BondAssure by Old mutual is a product specifically aimed to provide life cover on a mortgagor's home loan.
BondAssure offers -

+ Cover up to R1 500 000.00
+ An Installment protector benefit
+ No medial of HIV testing required**
What are my responsibilities?
You only need to determine whether client would be interested in the life insurance policy, and if so send the referral message. The insurance consultants will discuss the details and conclude the policy with the client themselves.
Marketing material on BondAssure will be made available to you that you can hand out to your clients if they are interested.
Training is also available from both Korbitec and Intaba (Life Product Consultants and Facilitators) if you would like to learn more.
How much does it cost?
InsureCentral is a free service to all attorneys. In fact, you may receive a referral fee in the form of a credit on you Korbitec account.*
How do I get started?
To activate Insure Central you need to be a Korbitec Gateway user.
If you are an existing Korbitec Gateway user, you can start using InsureCentral immediately.
If you are not yet a Korbitec Gateway user, contact your GhostConvey Account Manager. Alternatively, you can contact Korbitec Gateway directly at

3. Click OK (to save the description to your matter), OR
4. Click Cancel to accept GhostConvey default.

Siyabonga Nkonqa has been a Help Desk Consultant for just over a year now, he started on the help desk as a Help Desk Operator where his knowledge on the Korbitec suite of products grew and later he was promoted to Help Desk Consultant role. To his role he brought a wealth of knowledge and experience from the customer service relations industry.

It is time to meet another GhostConvey Support Consultant, MARIAM ALLIE.
I've been at Korbitec for 2 years of which 6 months was spent at Helpdesk Cape Town. I do miss Cape Town a lot but; believe that a happy person is not a person in a certain set of circumstances, but rather a person with a certain set of attitudes!!!

Recipe of the month - Best Waffles - 4 Servings

Ingredients (Nutrition)
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Method
- In a large bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Add milk, eggs and oil; mix well.
- Spray preheated waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray. Pour mix onto hot waffle iron. Cook until golden brown.
