Welcome once again to the Johannesburg GhostConvey Club! Our aim is to provide you with useful GhostConvey related information on a monthly basis, in addition to some more light-hearted hints, recipes, jokes etc, and not forgetting our regular competitions with some fantastic prizes up for grabs.

GhostConvey Roadshow

The property industry is changing constantly and we face new challenges daily. On 1st June 2007 the National Credit Act (NCA) will come into force and substantially change the way the conveyancing process works. Despite increased property transactions and additional legislative impediments the conveyancing industry is still expected to offer superior service, reduced times to registration and accurate reporting.

In order to assist you to meet these challenges we would like to invite you to join us for an update on the National Credit Act and the consequent changes to the bank milestones. We will also introduce you to the new GhostConvey Developments Module as well as the Attorney Gateway for FNB.

Please meet Toyheba Karrien (Previously Peters)

Toyheba who was recently married was born and raised in Cape Town and is one of three children. She started working for attorneys in March 1995 and in 2000, she studied part-time and completed a course in paralegal studies. In August 2004 a change was in order and she started working at Korbitec.


Her broad conveyancing experience (9 years) is an asset to all on the Help Desk. Hobbies include dancing, singing (in the privacy of her home). Toyheba loves playing pool and reading but hasn't read a good book lately it's just been glossy magazines for a while now.

Why do I get the following error when trying to run the 8.4.7 update and how do I correct it?


Answer :
First run 8.4.5 and thereafter 8.4.7 (only ABSA CPF panel attorney's were required to do the 8.4.5 update originally).

Our new map searches in WinDeed are a huge hit out in the market place so please pass on the info to any of your Estate Agent contacts to make sure they have access to the program, especially as the software is free, support and training is free and they only pay for the searches they do on WinDeed.







Recipe of the month - Cheesy Bread Rolls

Ingredients
1 ball dough
½ pkt thick white onion soup
± 250g marge
1 tsp garlic
Grated cheese

Method
Cut dough into 12 balls
Melt butter and let cool slightly, then add in white onion soup and garlic and stir.
Grease pyrex dish, dip balls into butter mixture and place in dish.
Pour balance of mixture over balls.
Sprinkle grated cheese over and bake at 180ºC until brown (± 20 to 30 minutes)
ENJOY!!!
