Mortgage fraud Seminar

Co sponsored by Glenrand MIB, the seminar will be addressed by a panel of professional speakers who will discuss ways of combating mortgage fraud. Vincent Farris of Price Waterhouse Coopers will set the scene, and look at ways to prevent fraud by way of bank, convey, and technology controls. Leo Swart of the Law Society will discuss specific cases of risk management, while Greg Christie-Taylor of Leppard Underwriting will talk on "PI Cover - Lessons from an insurance perspective".

Pieter Vorster from ABSA will discuss "Combating mortgage fraud from a bank perspective" while Susan Coetzee of Sabric will look at "Fraud from a bank's perspective". Finally Johan van Staden of the Law Society will host an open forum on the issues covered.
