Property24.com recently launched its newly revamped website, sporting a sophisticated user interface geared to greatly improve functionality and usability.
The new face of the Property24.com site marks a significant departure from the previous version, which, after two years of operation, was no longer able to meet the needs of an ever more web-savvy clientele.
“Our site has evolved with our audience,” says Property24.com's General Manager, JP Farinha. “We’re constantly working to improve the Property24.com experience for our users and the revamped site provides not only a substantially improved interface, but a great deal of additional information that is sure to prove invaluable to estate agents and prospective buyers alike.”
Whilst the structure of the site remains largely unchanged, it boasts a number of added features, including a detailed suburb report for each area which breaks down past sales figures as well as average property values. The site now also provides a state-of-the-art mapping service which identifies key points of interest, as well as additional property information which could prove crucial when it comes to making a high investment purchase.
In addition to supplying users with a wealth of additional information, the site’s simpler interface has revitalised its look and feel, differentiating it from other property portals by offering a cleaner, more intuitive user experience. “The new site has been re-developed to give our users what they want and is built around their feedback and input,” says Farinha. “New features like multiple suburb searches will make access to relevant information far simpler, and the overall site navigation structure has been engineered with ease of use in mind.”
The new-look listings portal also aims to service the broader needs of the property industry, and now offers a featured attorney section open to conveyancers around the country. “The new site has been developed with all sectors of our audience in mind and aims to provide a compelling value proposition not only to consumers, but to estate agents and other role players within the property industry as well,” says Farinha.
Property24.com's mobile WAP site has also undergone a facelift and now boasts enhanced functionality such as location-based searches, which are available to all users with GPS-enabled handsets. The mobile site is accessible via all WAP enabled mobile phones and seamlessly extends Property24.com's listing service to a wider audience who will now be able to engage with content, irrespective of location.
Customised iPhone and Android applications, which capitalise on advanced smartphone technology, are also in the works.
